Add a custom domain
Verify a subdomain, provision SSL, and route it to an eligible AgentStack customer surface.
Open Settings → Custom Domain to give one agent a branded subdomain. Adding, verifying, changing, and removing domains is restricted to organization administrators and owners. Custom domains require Pro or Enterprise: Pro allows one domain per organization and Enterprise allows up to 50.
Add and verify a hostname
Enter a subdomain such as support.example.com and select Add domain. Apex domains, IP addresses, localhost, and AgentStack or Vercel platform hosts are rejected. Hostnames are normalized before verification.
AgentStack shows the required CNAME and ownership TXT records. Add both at your DNS provider, then select Check DNS. The lifecycle can show Waiting for DNS, Verifying DNS, DNS verified or provisioning SSL, Active, DNS failed, SSL failed, Removing, or Suspended. A domain is active only after ownership, DNS, and SSL verification succeed, so do not promise a specific propagation time.
Select the route target
Choose whether the active domain routes to Embed widget, Help page, or Help center. Changing a live domain’s surface asks for confirmation because it changes live traffic. Selecting Help page while that agent’s Help Page is disabled currently serves the widget and the page warns about it; re-enabling Help Page restores its route.
The domain does not automatically enable Help Page or Help Center. Keep the agent’s separate channel and content configuration valid, then test the hostname after it becomes Active. Remove a domain only after moving traffic and checking customer links.
