Web Search
Let your agent look up current public web information with a controlled result limit.
Web Search gives an agent a way to search the public web for current information during a conversation. Enable the card, choose Configure, and set Maximum Results. The control accepts three through ten results and defaults to five. A larger number of results can increase response time, so begin with the smallest setting that gives useful answers for your use case.
At runtime, the action returns search results with a title, URL, and snippet. It is designed for finding current information, not for unrestricted browser control or a guarantee that the agent has read every full page behind a result. The capability depends on the deployment's search service configuration; if that service is unavailable, an execution can fail and should be investigated in the action log.
Web Search is low risk. Give the agent clear instructions about when to search and how to present uncertain or time-sensitive information to visitors. Test questions that should and should not invoke the action, then review the resulting titles and URLs. Do not use it as a substitute for a source of record when an answer requires a verified internal policy or a transaction.
