Cal.com

Connect Cal.com scheduling to an agent using an API key and scoped event types.

Use Cal.com to let an agent check availability and book meetings with your Cal.com account. Open the action configuration. Enter a Cal.com API Key. Select Connect to confirm the key works. The platform stores the key as a credential. It does not show the key again after you save it. Choose the event types that the agent can offer. Set the default duration to a value between 15 and 120 minutes, in steps of 15 minutes.

When the action has an available time and the attendee's name and email, it can discover event types, check availability, and create a meeting. The event-type selection is the practical scope control. An empty list does not stop the agent from offering an event type. Cal.com and Calendly cannot be active together for one agent. When you enable one action, the platform disables the other automatically. Decide which action to use before you invite visitors to schedule a meeting.

Cal.com is high risk. When action approval is enabled in widget chat, the visitor must confirm before a Cal.com tool call runs. This action uses an API key, not OAuth. It does not support cancellation or rescheduling. It also does not guarantee that the scheduling runtime enforces the configured default duration. Test the full flow with a disposable event type. Then check the action log for failures.
