Cal.com

Connect Cal.com scheduling to an agent using an API key and scoped event types.

Use Cal.com when an agent should check availability and book meetings using your Cal.com account. Open the action configuration, enter a Cal.com API Key, and use Connect to validate it. The key is stored as a credential and is not shown again after saving. Choose event types the agent may offer and set the preferred default duration between 15 and 120 minutes in 15-minute steps.

The action can discover event types, check availability, and create a meeting when it has an available time and the attendee’s name and email. The event-type selection is the practical scope control; an empty list is not a guarantee that no event type can be offered. Cal.com and Calendly cannot be active together for an agent. Enabling one automatically disables the other, so remove ambiguity before inviting visitors to schedule.

Cal.com is high risk. Widget chat with action approval enabled asks the visitor to confirm before a Cal.com tool call runs. This action uses an API key, not OAuth. It does not document cancellation, rescheduling, or a promise that the configured default duration is enforced by the scheduling runtime. Test the full flow with a disposable event type and inspect the action log for failures.
