Calendly
Offer Calendly availability and booking through an agent with explicit event-type and connection controls.
Enable Calendly when your agent should help a visitor find availability or book a meeting. First connect Calendly in Integrations. In the action configuration, select the connection when there is more than one, choose event types the agent may offer, and set a preferred default duration from 15 to 120 minutes in 15-minute steps.
The action can discover event types, check availability, and create a booking. A booking needs an available time plus the attendee’s name and email. Calendly and Cal.com are mutually exclusive: enabling one disables the other, so decide which scheduler owns the agent’s booking workflow. A selected event-type list restricts what is offered; leaving it unset does not create a deny-by-default policy, so review your actual configuration carefully.
Calendly is high risk even when the agent is only checking availability. In a widget chat where action approval is enabled, the visitor confirms before the action proceeds. The action does not document rescheduling, cancellation, or bidirectional calendar synchronization. Test a booking flow with a safe event type, then inspect the action log and Calendly before relying on it for customer scheduling.
