Articles and collections

Organize Help Center content into collections and create draft or published articles with stable slugs.

Use Articles to create collections and articles for a Help Center. You can nest, order, rename, move, and delete collections. This gives readers a clear path to browse. An article has a title, slug, description, collection, position, body, and publication status. Keep the article in draft while you review the content. When it is ready for visitors, publish it.

The system normalizes slugs as you edit them. Each slug must stay unique within the site. Choose stable, descriptive names for slugs. A slug change after publication changes the article's public path. The article list shows draft and published status. This lets an editor separate work in progress from content for customers. Creating or editing needs Help Center write permission. Publishing and deleting need their own separate permission.

Keep a collection focused on a reader task, not on an internal team structure. Use clear titles. Order articles with care. Before you publish an article, check how it looks to readers. Deleting a collection or article is a significant change. Before you confirm the deletion, check its child content and links.
