Help Page

Publish a standalone support page with branded chat, suggested prompts, voice input, and optional quick links.

The Help Page is a standalone support chat at /help/[agentPublicId]. Enable it in Channels. Then set these items:

  • The browser title
  • The default theme (light, dark, or match system)
  • The hero and logo images for light and dark mode
  • The favicon
  • The colors
  • The suggested messages

You can add up to eight quick links. Each link needs an absolute HTTP or HTTPS URL. When the page is disabled, its public route is not available.

Help Page includes a separate voice-to-text option. This option lets visitors upload browser audio for transcription in Help Page chat. Voice-to-text is not the same as the real-time Voice Calls channel. Help Page attachments are coming soon. They do not yet support customer file uploads.

This public surface uses the help-page chat source. It does not use the widget's allowed-domain restriction or widget identity gate. Geographic restrictions still apply. The Domain section of this page shows which of the organization's web domains serve this Help Page, and links to the Domains screen, where you add a domain or change what it routes to. If you route a custom domain to Help Page, remember that one hostname serves only one selected surface. Before you share the published URL with customers, test it and its theme on a real browser.

Match system makes the page follow the visitor's device setting for light or dark mode. The page also follows a change to that setting during the visit. When a visitor uses the theme button in the sidebar, that choice is kept in the browser and it replaces the default theme.
